I am a PhD candidate at Karolinska Institute and a MD at the Dept of Clinical Chemistry, Karolinska University Hospital, where I mainly work with coagulation analyses. I also do part-time as a physician at the Dept of Coagulation, KUH, where I provide care for patients with bleeding and trombophilia disorders.

My PhD thesis focuses on von Willebrand disease, with an emphasis on laboratory diagnostics. I do both translational research as well as more fundamental research into the function of the von Willebrand factor. I have also worked with global hemostatic methods, such as the overall hemostatic potential (OHP) and thrombin generation (TG), and mathematical models of coagulation.
