I work as research coordinator in the Herold research group, supporting the lab's efforts to improve survival in childhood cancers. My role is to facilitate this work by coordinating different scientific and administrative events in the group, which means that I have very varying tasks, including writing/coordinating grant applications, organizing meetings and helping out with personnel and financial errands.

I am a biologist by training with a PhD in Physiology and long experience within research and research administration. While my PhD- and post doc-project focused adrenergic regulation of glucose uptake in skeletal muscles, I have also worked for seven years as a lab coordinator exploring how the method CETSA can be used to study e.g. drug resistance in cancer.
