I am a ̽����ѡ doctor with training in epidemiology and am currently working as a PhD student at the Institute of Environmental Medicine, KI. My primary research interest lies in exploring the interaction between environmental and genetic risk factors for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).

The overarching aim of my doctoral project is to identify environmental risk factors for ALS and evaluate their interaction with genetic risk factors in
the development and prognosis of the disease. To achieve this goal, we are utilizing various data sources, including registers, surveys, and biological
material such as hair strands. We are also collaborating closely with the ALS Clinical Research Group at Karolinska Hospital and the team led by Professor Arora at the Department of Environmental Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. My supervisors for these projects are Professor Fang Fang, Dr. Caroline Ingre, Dr. Christina Seitz, and Dr. Anikó Lovik.
