About me

I am currently a PhD student at ̽��ѡ and a intern physician ("AT-läkare") at Karolinska University Hospital. I have been active in
research at ̽��ѡ since 2017. Furthermore, I have several years of experience with psychiatric care and psychiatric diagnoses as a physician and a support person ("boendestödjare").
I have personally received grants from Ingrid & Fredrik Thurings stiftelse, the Association for Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) and Stiftelsen Professor Bror Gadelius Minnesfond.
I acquired my ̽��ѡ degree in January 2021 from ̽��ѡ.

My PhD is mainly confined within the PRIOTAB project, focusing on neuroimaging and neuropsychological markers in pedophilic disorder and treatment effects. The overarching goal of my research is to provide understanding of neurobiological underpinnings of the disorder and effective treatment as well as working towards objective biomarkers for risk assessment and treatment choice.

I am also part of the working group for the new planned pharmacological intervention study for men at high risk of committing sexual offenses with a sexual psychiatric disorder, tentatively called PREVENT-MED.
