About me

  • Senior consultant in obstetrics and gynecology at the Department of Gynecology and reproductive medicine, Karolinska University Hospital Huddinge. 

    Medically responsible for the cervical screening program at the Regional Cancer Center Stockholm Gotland. 

    Member of the national working group (NaCx) and the national expert group (NKCx) for cervical cancer prevention in Sweden. 

    Webmaster and treasurer of the nationel society for cervical cancer prevention and colposcopy (C-ARG).

    Post-doc student affiliated to the Department of Medicine, Karolinska University Hospital Huddinge, and the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Karolinska Institute, Solna. 

     

Research

  • My research is focused on clinical and epidemiological register-based studies on cervical cancer prevention, mainly studying comorbidity and risk factors for Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and cervical cancer.

Teaching

  • Head of the national course on cervical cancer prevention and colposcopy for resident physicians in Sweden (Socialstyrelsens S-K kurs). 

    Lecturer in the national course on cervical cancer prevention and colposcopy for specialist physicans in Sweden (SFOGs specialistkurs).
