Jakob Pansell

About me

I am a specialist nurse in intensive care, anesthesia and prehospital care. I have a degree of masters (fil mag) in Decision-, Risk- and Policy analysis from Högskolan i Gävle and a PhD from ̽��ѡ, where I defended my thesis in May 2024. I work at the Karolinska University Hospital where I split my time between clinical work as an intensive care nurse, and research, development and teaching.

My clinical work mainly is in neurointensive care, trauma intensive care and general intensive care, but I also do hyperbaric medicine. I am very interested in ultrasound, which is an important part of both my clinical practice and my research.
