I'm an associate professor at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience as well as a clinical psychologist at BUP FoU Centrum. My research concerns youth with anxiety disorders and conduct problems. I studied psychology at Stockholm University 2000-2005 and have since been active as a clinical psychologist at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in Stockholm, as well as within the primary care. During 2010-2014 I did my PhD at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡, about parent training interventions for children with conduct problems. During 2014-2020 I did my postdoc in Eva Serlachius' research group at the Centre for Psychiatry Research (CPF). I am since 2021 a research group leader for the Child and adolescent psychiatry group at CPF.

I am currently involved in several studies about gender dysphoria in children and adolescents. Along with the gender dysphoria clinic at BUP Stockholm, I am building and following a cohort of youths that are seeking gender affirming care. We are also preparing epidemiological studies on the gender dysphoria population. Additionally, I am involved in research on anxious children, treatment of anxiety disorders as well as implementation and dissemination of evidence-based treatments. I am also doing research about treatments for children with conduct problems.

I am primarily teaching at the psychology program,  the speech therapist program and the medicine program (̽»¨¾«Ñ¡). I am also responsible for two research methods courses at the research school in clinical psychiatry.
