About me

  • Since 2021, I work as a PhD student in the Marie Wahren-Herlenius group.

I'm a physician and started specializing in pediatrics before working at ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡. I also have a background as a speech-language pathologist.

Research

  • My main research area is congenital heart block (CHB). A rare condition that is caused by maternal autoantibodies that are transported across the placenta and cause inflammatory damage in the fetal heart leading to arrhythmia. I'm interested in contributing factors that increase the risk for CHB development as well as how to best care for the families at risk.

Teaching

  • Since the spring semester 2023, I'm a regular mentor in Karolinksa Institutet's cooperation with Berättarministeriet.
