The Press Office and Editorial Content Unit coordinates, plans and produces editorial content and provides support on media relations.

• We provide a service for the media by replying to questions from journalists and arranging contact with experts.
• We work strategically and operationally with science communication, including via the Research at ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ portal on the KI website.
• We publish news on and accounts of KI’s research, education and students as well as material portraying KI as a university and social operator.
• We work with and develop various format of editorial content for release on the website, in print, on social media and in podcasts.
• We provide operational media and communication support to staff and managers and monitor academic, social and media trends.

My background at KI

My professional journey is deeply rooted in journalism and media relations. My journey at ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ began in 2007 as an editor. Over the years, I’ve served as the editor of the staff magazine KI Bladet and held the position of editor-in-chief for KI News. Today, I hold dual roles as the Chief Press Officer and Head of the Press and Editorial Content Unit within the Communications and Public Relations Office.

In my position, I oversee both media relations and editorial content. Leading a dedicated team of ten professionals, we provide comprehensive services, including press services, research news, strategic communication from management, and expert advice to teachers, researchers, and university administration. Our commitment extends to external monitoring and crisis communication. By engaging with diverse audiences, we foster transparency and dialogue, amplifying KI’s impact and reputation.
