About me

  • As a midwife and a young researcher, I am interested in every aspects of
    women's health and perinatality.
    I pursued in France a double degree in midwifery and biology (/Toulouse and
    Aix-Marseille University)/. During my PhD at Toulouse Institute for
    Infectious and Inflammatory Diseases /(INSERM, University Toulouse III), / I
    analyzed the impact of human Cytomegalovirus infection on placental
    extracellular cellular vesicles, and their impact on the fetus, paving the
    way to promising approaches for early prognostic biomarkers development.
    I lately expanded my scope in gynecology and obstetrics to public health,
    joining Global Health training program at Pasteur Institute/CNAM /(Paris)/
    before joining KI.

Research

  • In Prs. Salumets and Lanner lab I am focusing on the implantation processes
    at the early times points of human pregnancy.
    Using both stem cells and organo茂ds models I aim to decipher some of the
    mechanisms involved in healthy and pathological pregnancies. I hope to
    leverage my expertise in extracellular vesicles in reproductive medicine to
    identify some of the building blocks in the cross talk between endometrium
    and embryo.
    In addition to a better understanding of human reproduction physiology, this
    research work could improve the care of women and couples facing miscarriages
    and infertility.
