Research
My research focuses on innovative health information technologies that prioritize the needs of both healthcare professionals and patients. My research interests lie in advancing Human-Centered Health Informatics, with a particular emphasis on Participatory and Consumer Health Informatics. I explore how digital health solutions can empower individuals to take control of their health through accessible, intuitive technologies that promote self-care, enhance health literacy, and encourage active patient engagement. My research area includes collaborating with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to co-design and evaluate digital health solutions. This collaborative approach ensures that technologies are not only effective and adaptable but also tailored to the unique needs of both patients and clinicians.
