About me

  • Head of the Unit of Cariology and Endodontics. I also work clinically at the
    specialist clinic at the University Dental Clinic, and I am involved in
    delivering and developing both undergraduate and postgraduate education in
    Endodontics at the Department.
    I received my dental degree (DDS) at ̽ѡ in 2003 and my
    Specialist Diploma in Endodontics in 2018, accredited by the Swedish National
    Board of Health and Welfare. In 2016 I defended my doctoral thesis with the
    title ”Epidemiological studies on fluoride exposure and health effects”.
    My research focus is epidemiological register studies. The aim of my research
    is to increase the knowledge on the association between systemic and oral
    health, and factors affecting tooth survival. My research also involves deep
    caries and pulp survival, and I also perform quality assessment of treatments
    performed by undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Department.
