About me

  • I am an assistant lecturer and researcher at the Division of Pathology, Department of Laboratory Medicine. In addition to my teaching and research responsibilities, since May 2023, I have taken on the role of Program Director for both the Bio̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Analyst program and the Master's program in Bio̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Laboratory Science. 

     

     

Research

  • My research conserns the multifaced protein tartrate resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP) and its function in different conditions such as immune regulation and cancer development.

Teaching

  • My teaching portfolio spans a diverse range of subjects, encompassing both theoretical and practical aspects of cell and molecular biology, alongside general pathology, scientific methodology, and biostatistics. Additionally, I cover essential topics in chemistry and biochemistry, as well as immunology.

     

    Beyond the hard sciences, I am also committed to teaching project management, communication, and leadership skills.

     

    Central to my teaching philosophy is the belief in active training over passive learning. My goal is to empower students to become independent thinkers and problem-solvers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in their future careers.
