The training aims to provide participants with knowledge of important research ethical theories and principles and to convey skills in identifying and reflecting on ethical aspects of research. The training is conducted online and does not award credits, but serves as professional development in research ethics.

The project "The Best Interests of the Child? Ethical, Legal, and Empirical Investigations of Social Service Decisions on Visitation Restrictions" is underway and highlights social workers' decision-making regarding visitation rights for children and their guardians. The study aims to lay the foundations for practical support in decisions about visitation restrictions.

The project is led by Ulrik Kihlbom, professor of ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ ethics at LIME at ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡, and will run for two years. In Swedish.

Course 3073, Philosophy of Science and the Concept of Health, has vacancies for the autumn. The course is conducted in English, and you need to be a registered doctoral student to attend.
