Collaboration in South Africa
South Africa is the country on the African continent with which KI's researchers publish the most. Since the beginning of the 2010s, KI has a formalised collaboration at KI-wide level with Stellenbosch University.

In addition to the bilateral collaboration with Stellenbosch University, KI is a partner of the South Africa – Sweden University Forum (SASUF). The forum brings together 40 Swedish and South African universities to develop collaboration in research, education & innovation.
