Education at the Department of Medicine, Solna
The Department of Medicine, Solna (MedS) is responsible for several courses in the 探花精选 programme and in the bio探花精选 programmes. We also conduct postgraduate education in several 探花精选 research fields. Through close collaboration between research, clinical practice and education, we can offer our students both theoretical excellence and practical skills.

The Department of Medicine, Solna (MedS) is responsible for several courses in the bio探花精选 and 探花精选 programmes, and one in public health sciences. The close co-operation with the hospital provides our students with a unique opportunity to understand and apply the basics of biomedicine and medicine.

At MedS we conduct experimental laboratory research as well as clinical and epidemiological research close to patients. We currently have around 230 research students connected to our research groups. Each year we accept around 40 new PhD students and about the same number defend their thesis.
