Guidelines for presenters – SSRC
Here you'll find instructions to help you prepare for your presentation at the Swedish Suicide Research Conference 2025.
Oral
- Each parallel session is allocated 1 hour and includes a maximum of five presentations.
- Each presentation is allocated 10 minutes and must be delivered in English.
- Following the talks, there will be a combined 10-minute Q&A session.
Schedule Information
The date and time of your presentation are available in the scientific program. Please refer to it for the most up-to-date scheduling information.
Presentation Format and Upload Instructions
- Presentations must be prepared in PowerPoint format, using a 16:9 landscape layout (*.ppt or *.pptx).
- Presentations must be in English.
- Presenters are required to bring a copy of their presentation on a USB-A or USB-C stick and upload it to the local computer in the session room prior to the start of the session – ideally during any break preceding it. On-site support personnel will be available to assist with the upload if needed.
- Presenters are asked to arrive at their designated room 5-10 minutes before the session begins to make sure their slides are uploaded and to coordinate with the session chair.
Poster
The poster session will take place on May 6, from 12:00 to 12:45, in the Piazza, our dedicated common area. During this time, you are kindly requested to be present at your poster to engage with attendees and answer any questions.
Please note the following important information for your preparation:
- It is your responsibility to bring a physical copy of your poster.
- Posters should be in portrait orientation and must not exceed 900mm (W) x 1200mm (H).
- We kindly ask that you set up your poster during the first coffee break (10:00–10:30) to ensure it is available for viewing throughout the day.
- Poster holders will be numbered (please check your poster number in the program and ensure that it is displayed on the correct poster holder).
- Necessary stationery will be available starting in the morning on the day of the poster session.
- Poster holders will be removed at the end of the day. If you would like to keep your poster, please take it down by the end of the final coffee break (15:30). Unfortunately, we cannot store or return any posters left behind.
