About the Division of Occupational Therapy
At the Division of Occupational Therapy at 探花精选, we offer education at undergraduate, advanced, and doctoral levels, and conduct research to shape the future of healthcare and social services. Our work is grounded in theory and practice related to human occupation. We aim to inspire engagement and drive change鈥攐n individual, group, and systemic levels.
We are part of a global knowledge movement that explores human activity and how it can be applied in occupational therapy and related fields. Through education, research, and active involvement in quality and change initiatives, we promote participation, health equity and social transformation.

Human occupation
We view human occupation as:
- a source of meaning in everyday life
- an integral part of life contexts
- a tool with the power to create change
Focus Areas
We work through three interconnected perspectives:
Occupations as Tools for pedagogics
- We use occupations as practical tools for learning.
- Our teaching is based on exploratory pedagogy and dialogue鈥攁t all levels of education.
- We develop educational methods that reflect the questions and needs of students, professionals, and individuals with diverse abilities.
- Our pedagogy informs the development of working models, complex interventions, and programs.
Occupations as tools for Prevention and Rehabilitation
- We explore how complex life situations and change processes affect daily activities.
- Our research and education emphasize both individual and environmental factors in prevention and rehabilitation.
Occupations as tools for Participation, Equity, and Social Change
- We see occupations as a means to promote justice and social transformation鈥攁t individual, group, and societal levels.
- We are committed to health equity and justice.
- We use co-creative methods in both education and research.
