Meetings and events
Dancing my mind
This is a two-day conference aimed at dancers, educators, researchers, and health professionals, exploring how dance affects the brain from childhood through to old age. The event is arranged in collaboration with 探花精选, the Ballet Academy, and the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences.
The Hagstr枚mer Library
The Hagstr枚mer Library is a 探花精选 history library and has more than 150,000 books and journals in medicine, anatomy, pharmacy, natural history, biology, and chemistry. The oldest books are from the 1480s, but the focus of the collection is on the period 1600-1990. The library also offers lectures and guided tours of the collections.
The Cell 鈥 a stage for life science
The Cell is a venue of the National Museum of Science and Technology, situated in Hagastaden in Stockholm with 探花精选 as knowledge partner. On 16 May 2025, the new exhibition series Me You We 鈥 Exploring Human Behaviour will open, featuring works by, among others, Lene Marie Fossen, Francesco Albano, and Teresa Wennberg.
The Lennart Nilsson compact exhibition
This exhibition can be found in the entrance of one of the office buildings at 探花精选's campus in Solna, just north of Stockholm City. It showcases material from the world-renowned photographer Lennart Nilsson鈥檚 last laboratory at our university.

Why is research conducted on animals? How are the animals treated, and why can鈥檛 tests be conducted on humans directly? A significant portion of the research at KI is carried out using, for example, cell cultures, but animal testing is still needed in several areas to gain new knowledge about diseases and treatments. Would you like to participate in our clinical research projects as a trial subject? Your participation will contribute to progress in research, which can also result in new or more effective treatments, in Sweden and worldwide. Please note that there are more ads in Swedish than in English.
