Preventive Medicine – Susanna Larssons forskargrupp

Our research focuses on identifying modifiable and genetic risk factors for common diseases. We conduct large-scale epidemiological studies using prospective cohorts, biobanks, and multi-omics data to examine the role of diet, lifestyle, circulating biomarkers, gut microbiota, and genetic variation in disease development. By combining observational methods with genetic approaches like Mendelian randomization, we aim to advance evidence-based preventive medicine.
